Curl the new Web programming language by MIT

Curl is a new web programming language created by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to streamline complex web content by merging the functionality of different programming languages.

It’s creators believe it speeds up the delivery of applications over the web by up to 10 times.

Curl was commercially launched at the Software Development Forum in Palo Alto, California, USA on 6 August 2001.
