Is Weblog technology going too fast?

In Archive by Fredy Ore

An interesting article in the New York Times (free subscription required to view) which looks at whether the rapid adoption of weblogs and the technology associated with it is just a trend which will fade out in the future.

One of the interesting points the article comments on, is the quick nature of posting blogs and whether this ability hinders the actual editorial and readability of reading content online.

It seems nevertheless, that although blogs are quick to upload and publish it posses’ a somewhat “on-the-run” and not “substance/solid” reading experience.
