The Whitney Museum of net art this month feature Alexander R. Galloway for his Personal Edition (PE) of Carnivore – an interactive art product developed as a networked surveillance tool based on the notorious FBI software of the same name.
His work is well regarded and has been labelled by some, including the NY Times as “conceptually sharp, visually compelling and completely attuned to the political moment.”
